SkillsUSA has partnered with Aerotek, a leading provider of talent solutions that specializes in placing talent from light industry and specialized trades in the manufacturing, logistics, construction, aviation and facility management industries, to offer “Make Your Mark” grants to SkillsUSA members. The Construction and Development group's programs are based on the National Center for Construction Education & (NCCER) standards and prepare students for careers in construction management, the wide range of construction professions, and construction maintenance professions. Carpenters are the most important occupation in the construction industry and those with versatile skills are in high demand.
